This Letter from the Producer Live marks the 75th installment of the developer broadcast, and the second one pertaining to Final Fantasy 14 Patch 6.3, titled Gods Revel, Lands Tremble. The Live Letter will take place on Friday, December 23 at 3 a.m. PST/6 a.m. EST. The presentation itself will include Japanese audio only, but slides will have English text, and official and fan translations will ensure players will stay informed even if they can’t watch the broadcast live.

This broadcast is the last of its kind before Gods Revel, Lands Tremble launches in January. The second Letter from the Producer Live for each patch tends to happen two or three weeks before the patch’s launch. If Final Fantasy 14 continues this trend, players can expect Patch 6.3 to launch on January 3 or 10. The holidays could see the patch delayed, though that would be unlikely.
This Live Letter will contain additional gameplay footage and information for the Final Fantasy 14 patch’s contents. This will definitely include screenshots and a trailer, and possibly a live tour of raid areas, like those found in the second part of Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker’s Alliance raid or the currently-unannounced Ultimate raid, whose subject will likely be revealed during the broadcast. Either way, players can expect the media revealed during the Live Letter to be added to Final Fantasy 14’s special site for 6.3 shortly after.
Gods Revel, Lands Tremble will continue the Main Scenario of Endwalker. The Warrior of Light will return to the frigid lands of Garlemald to contend with an unforeseen threat alongside friends both old and new. Players can expect a new dungeon and trial as a part of the story, as well as new sidequests, a Crystalline Conflict arena and season, additions to the Island Sanctuary, Duty Support through all of Heavensward, and more.
A couple of months after Patch 6.3, players can expect even more content in Patch 6.35. This Final Fantasy 14 patch will continue the Hildibrand and Manderville relic weapon storylines and add the first new Deep Dungeon since Stormblood with Eureka Orthos. With crafting and gathering tool enhancement quests and a new Tribal quest series with the moon-dwelling Lopporits coming with it, Final Fantasy 14 fans should have plenty to look forward to in the new year.
Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
