Final Fantasy 14 is expected to drop a trailer for “Gods Revel, Lands Tremble” in its second Letter from the Producer livestream, and the current release date for Patch 6.3 of Endwalker is expected to be January 3. Heavensturn will be the seasonal event that bridges Patch 6.2 with Patch 6.3, and to the joy of many veteran Final Fantasy 14 players, this year’s Heavensturn won’t feature the infamous helmets as the event rewards.

The Heavensturn Celebration for 2023 will start on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 7:00 AM PST and will last until Monday, January 16, 2023, at 6:59 AM PST. To commence the event, players will need to go to Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks and speak with the Usagi Bugyo located south of the Aftcastle aetheryte. After completing its storyline, fans can expect to have a new set of armor that would be perfect for any Eastern-themed glamour and Samurai players of Final Fantasy 14 in particular will want to obtain this dyeable ensemble.
In addition to the armor set, Final Fantasy 14 players can also procure a new type of furnishing for their house. Though the housing system in Final Fantasy 14 is struggling to accommodate the population boom it experienced in Endwalker, Patch 6.3 will be significantly increasing the housing capacity across all residential districts when it launches. With automatic house demolition returning to Final Fantasy 14, players can also expect to see quite a few empty plots near the end of February, and should they obtain a house of their own, the Heavensturn crane-themed banner will be a stylish piece to hang on their wall.
The Void-centered patches of Endwalker have carried the same quality that Final Fantasy 14 players have come to expect from Square Enix, and though the story once established in A Realm Reborn has ended, this new chapter is proving to be just as exciting. As Heavensturn ushers in the year of 2023 for Etheirys, its players can hope to experience the next chapter of their adventures in the Thirteenth Reflection soon after.
Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
